Cut Out Sugar Cookie Recipe King Arthur. These cut out sugar cookies are soft, thick, sinfully buttery and taste amazing whether they are decorated or not! I have some pumpkin cutouts in the oven right now with the extra dough i had leftover.
Makes 3 dozen cookies (depending on size and shape). 1 tbsp + 1 teaspoon milk. A few tricks make sure the cookies don't spread while baking!
These cut out sugar cookies are soft and chewy (thanks to the use of butter and two eggs), insanely delicious and hold their shape beautifully!
2 cup all purpose flour. When cutting out your sugar cookies, make sure to keep your cuts as close together to get as many cookies out of your dough as possible.
